Maegan McDonald joined Goodman Allen Donnelly in 2024, where she focuses her practice on civil litigation defense, representing hospitals, physicians, dentists, nurses, and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice cases.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in December 2021, where she was awarded an Academic Merit Scholarship and served as Chairman of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. Meagan is also a member of the Virginia Beach Bar Association.
Maegan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a minor in Political Science from Stony Brook University, where she was consistently on the Dean’s List, served as a University Scholars Council Member, and studied at the Turkana Basin Institute Field School in Kenya.
Before joining the firm, Maegan gained extensive experience handling civil suits, motions, garnishments, and exemption hearings, as well as drafting legal documents and negotiating settlements. Her dedication and skills make her a strong advocate for healthcare professionals in complex litigation matters.
