Alexandra “Alex” Owens graduated from William & Mary Law School in May 2024. During law school, Alex was a summer associate at GAD and quickly joined the firm after graduation. Alex’s interest in health care law was sparked by her law school courses, as well as her family members in the health professions. Alex took advantage of several experiential opportunities in law school, including the William & Mary Elder and Disability Law clinic, where she worked directly with clients to get Medicaid benefits, obtain guardianships, and make health care proxies. Alex was also heavily involved with the William & Mary Law Review, the law school’s flagship academic publication, serving as its Lead Articles Editor.
