The Veterans Benefit Group of Goodman Allen Donnelly is pleased to be a contributing sponsor for a panel discussion on March 10, 2020. The presentation, TBI/CTE in Combat Veterans, is presented by Coming Home Well, and will be held from 6 – 8 pm at the Hillsdale Conference Center in Charlottesville.
Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) is a progressive degenerative brain disease caused by repeated blows to the head. In the last two decades, over 350,000 military traumatic brain injuries (TBI) were reported during the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. Coming Home Well hosts this educational panel discussion on TBI/CTI in combat veterans to empower civilians to better understand the struggles veterans face when returning home.
