Norfolk attorney Thea Pitzen continues her work with the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation, serving as an Associate Editor for the Section’s Litigation News publication. Thea’s articles, published quarterly, reach an international audience of more than 30,000 members of the Section of Litigation and cover topics across the spectrum of litigation.
Thea’s recent articles include: Presence of Client’s Parents Waived Privilege Claim (Aug. 13, 2019), Employers May Be Liable for Harassment by Nonemployees (Sept. 9, 2019), and Supreme Court Strikes “Immoral or Scandalous” Trademark Bar (Dec. 10, 2019). In addition, Thea recently published a book review (Her Story Is Also Our Story) on Her Story: Lessons in Success from Lawyers Who Live It.
Thea also published her first feature article for the publication, Evidence from Third Party Creates Legal and Ethical Issues, in the Winter 2020 print edition of Litigation News. She is scheduled to attend the Section of Litigation’s Fall Leadership Meeting in Boston later this year.
