Goodman Allen Donnelly attorney Heather M. Fields is participating in a new pro bono project initiated by several judges from the Eastern District of Virginia.  The first of its kind in Virginia, the program pairs federally barred attorneys with unrepresented parties involved in federal civil litigation in one of eight specialized areas for the limited purpose of mediation.  As the need arises, Mrs. Fields will be paired with a pro se litigant in a contract dispute, warranty claim, or personal injury action.  She will meet with the pro se litigant, prepare a mediation statement and represent the party during the mediation before the court.
