GOODMAN ALLEN & FILETTI RECOGNIZED

For the 4th year in a row, the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Goodman Allen & Filetti, PLLC has been named a "Go-To Law Firm®" for "In-House Law Departments at the Top 500 Companies" by American Lawyer Media's (ALM) Corporate Counsel® magazine.

ALM's Corporate Counsel® magazine, the nation's leading magazine for general counsel and in-house attorneys at corporations across the country, will publish a new reference guide to In-House Law Departments at the FORTUNE® 500 companies. The guide will include detailed profiles and contact information for general counsel at these corporations, as well as listings of their current outside "Go-To Law Firms®" in various practice areas.

"Go-To Law Firms®" for 2009 were identified through research conducted by The American Lawyer's sister publication, Corporate Counsel magazine for their 6th annual edition of In-House Law Departments at the Top 500 Companies. Go-To Law Firms® incorporates data collected on each company’s primary law firms first by surveys sent to General Counsel at each of the top 500 companies and second through research in various key databases such as Incisive Legal Intelligence, LitigationMonitor™, LiveEdgar, Westlaw®, USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office), and others.

Goodman, Allen & Filetti, PLLC was among 648 law firms named in six practice areas. According to The American Lawyer, that is less than one-half of one percent of all the firms in the United States and abroad.
