The Virginia Lawyers Weekly project seeks to recognize lawyers who set the standard for other lawyers-by changing practice, serving the community, changing the law or improving Virginia's justice system. 

Michael is being recognized for his outstanding service as an educator in the fields of boiethics, medical liability law and legal professionalsim as well as for his widely recognized experience in medical malpractice law.
 
   The honorees will be celebrated at a reception on Oct. 22 at the Bolling-Haxall House in downtown Richmond
