Ms. Glenn is a partner at Goodman Allen & Filetti, PLLC, with a long and established healthcare litigation practice. Ms. Glenn’s practice focuses primarily on the defense of hospitals, physicians, nurses, nursing homes and other health care providers. She provides advice in the areas of risk management, informed and surrogate decision-making, ethical issues and crisis situations which arise in the health care setting. Ms. Glenn also assits clients with guardianship, conservatorship and judicial authorization proceedings. She has experience with the regulatory boards in the Commonwealth of Virginia, including both the Board of Medicine and the Board of Nursing. Ms. Glenn frequently lectures to hospital risk managers, physicians, practice managers, nurses and others about a variety of medical, ethical and legal issues arising in the health care setting. Since entering private practice in 1996, she has successfully handled several hundred malpractice cases, many of which involved catastrophic injury or death. Prior to 1996, Ms. Glenn served as Assistant General Counsel to the Dalkon Shield Claimants Trust
